JASON M. ADELSTEIN was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Jason is married to Vicki Adelstein, a commercial real estate broker with United Commercial Realty (UCR) in San Antonio, and they have one child, Nathan Reuben Adelstein.
After graduating valedictorian from Churchill High School (and captaining the Charger Swim Team), Jason attended Columbia University in New York City. In addition to graduating with his B.A. in Political Science and a concentration in Astronomy, Jason swam for the men's swimming team, a NCAA Division I-AA program, for all four years - being voted one of the senior captains by his teammates. Immediately upon college graduation, Jason took a litigation legal assistant position for a year at the world-renowned law firm of Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City, gaining valuable knowledge and experience as to the practical and organizational aspects of the legal field. Jason then pursued his legal education at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. Upon graduation from law school, Jason worked at Cox Smith Matthews Incorporated until December of 2008. In January 2009, Jason joined Baucum Steed Barker and focuses his practice in the areas of commercial real estate and natural resources law.
